St. Tammany Parish Grand Jury Indicts Pearl River Man on 1 Count of First-Degree Rape Involving a Victim Under 13 and 1 Count of Sexual Battery Involving a Victim Under 13
District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted George L. Starks, 29 of Pearl River of 1 count of first-degree rape involving a victim under 13 and 1 count of sexual battery involving a victim under 13.
The victim was 12 when the abuse took place in Slidell, Louisiana in 2022.
We want to thank Detective Patrick Rigney with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office who investigated the case.
Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
