COVINGTON—District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Jacques A. Garnett, 52, of Atlanta, Thursday (Oct. 18) of first degree rape of a person under the age of 13.
Garnett is accused of raping an 11-year old girl in Slidell between November 1, 2016, and Dec. 25, 2016.
Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
