Grand Jury Indicts a Slidell Man on Sex Charges and Domestic Abuse
On August 17, 2023, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Jose Alberto Moreno, 40, of Slidell, Louisiana, for one count of 1st degree rape and one count sexual battery each involving a victim under the age of 13 and one count of domestic abuse battery involving strangulation on another household member. All of these acts occurred in the winter of 2021 in Slidell.
Detective Adam Driskell of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated the case. Assistant District Attorneys Ysonde Boland and Amanda Ahner Gritten presented the case to the Grand Jury.
