District Attorney Warren Montgomery recently attended the Gulf Coast Elder Abuse Conference, held at the Northshore Harbor Center in Slidell. The annual conference is sponsored by St. Tammany SALT (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together). It featured as speakers national and regional experts on the issue of elder abuse, including Assistant District Attorney Harold Bartholomew of the 22nd Judicial District. The conference was held in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, an international effort celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015.
