Antonio Tyson Pleads Not Guilty
District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that in the matter involving Antonio Tyson, the defendant was arraigned today and pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder and one count of obstruction of justice in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Covington on November 27, 2022.
The two counts of first-degree murder expose the defendant to either life imprisonment or the death penalty if he is found guilty as charged. Tyson is being represented by the Capital Defense Project of Southeast Louisiana.
The next hearing date in the case is April 18, 2023.
