District Attorney Warren Montgomery recently attended a graduation ceremony for the Malachi Dads and Celebrate Recovery programs at the B.B. “Sixty” Rayburn Correctional Center in Angie (Washington Parish). Malachi Dads is a 48-week, 104-hour, biblically-based parenting program designed to help fathers in prison restore a loving and spiritual relationship with their children. Celebrate Recovery is a 52-week, faith-based addiction recovery and substance abuse program. Both are aimed at reducing recidivism and the cycle of incarceration among the inmate population.
