District Attorney Collin Sims reports that on August 20, 2025, a St. Tammany Parish Grand Jury returned indictments in three separate cases.
Tara Dick was indicted for the Second Degree Murder of her husband via strangulation. Slidell Police Department Detective Scott O’Shaughnessy was the lead investigator who handled the case.
Joseph Boatman was indicted for the Second Degree Murder of his 21-month-old daughter Ansleigh Boatman. Detective Jacob Schwebel of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was the lead detective.
Madeleine Lewis was indicted for one count of Theft over $25,000 for a series of monetary thefts from her former employer, Northlake Christian School. The District Attorney’s office handled the investigation and received meaningful cooperation from the school’s Board of Directors.
