Washington Parish Grand Jury Indicts Bogalusa Man for
Second-Degree Kidnapping and Murder
District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on August 15, 2023, a Washington Parish Grand Jury indicted Trevion R. Mark, age 27 of Bogalusa, for the second-degree kidnapping and second-degree murder of Brett Ritchie. Mark was also indicted for obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence and possession of fentanyl. The homicide took place in April of 2020.
Assistant District Attorney, Doug Freese presented the case to the Grand Jury.
