Lacombe Man Indicted For Murder

District Attorney Collin Sims reports that on January 30, 2025, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted 18-year-old Caleb Gasery for second degree murder relating to the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Jason Sumner on October 9, 2024. Detective Kyle Krenwinkel with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office headed the investigation. Assistant District Attorney Ronnie Gracianette presented the case to the grand jury.
